more awards!

(If you read my personal blog, yes, this first two paragraphs is a total repeat on each page.)

My dear Krysta received this award a few weeks ago and, in choosing her five sites to pass it on to, was kind enough to select both this blog and my personal one. Thanks Krysta! I think you know at this point how much I dig you and you made me feel very special by giving that to me. I sincerely look forward to reading more about your life and your food. You're the best.

Since she gave it to both my blogs, and I get to choose five others to award, I thought I would pick three here and two on my personal site. So here goes!

My first award goes to The New Cook. I really love the methodical way that Andy approaches his cooking education. It has reminded me that there were quite a few things I skipped over, probably because I wasn't doing the online thing then and didn't have anyone to connect with or ask, and reading him has been very beneficial to me. Keep on cooking, Andy, and I'll keep on reading!

My second award is for Food on the Food. I found Tammy thanks to the blogger's choice award and not only is she hilarious and talented and endearing, but she gave me my go-to chicken dish. Try it. NO REALLY, TRY IT.

And last but not least, I'm giving my third award to Post-Collegiate Cooking à Deux. Because of their various backgrounds and life experiences, Neen and Do are introducing me to styles and tastes I may not have run into otherwise. I also really enjoy reading a food blog done by a couple and hearing the two distinct voices (plus? he cooks!).
